20 small kitchen storage ideas

Hi, loves.

If you have a small kitchen like me,
you might also struggle with places to put stuff
and keep the clutter to a minimum,
(especially if you love to cook
and/or have a teeny addiction to all of the cooking “candy”
at Williams-Sanoma).

DIY Wire and Nail Hanging Spice Storage by freckled laundry

Not too long ago, I shared my DIY Wire and Nail Hanging Spice Holder
with the hometalk community
and the sweet folks there invited me to curate a clipboard
for small kitchen storage ideas.
{Thank you, hometalk!}

I’ve put together a collection of 20 small kitchen storage ideas
that will tidy up and add style to little kitchens…and big kitchens too.
(In fact, some of the solutions that I thought would be perfect for a small space
were thought up by bloggers with big kitchens.)

Click the image below to hop over to my clipboard of inspiration
and check out each lovely project in more detail!

“A place for everything and everything in it’s place.”

I’ve talked about hometalk in the past,
but just in case you missed it or are new here {thank you},
it’s another new addiction for all things home and garden!
It’s an interactive place to share your projects, be inspired,
or even ask questions.

I especially love it because you don’t have to be a blogger or have a web site!
If you’re proud of a linen slipcover that you just made for your sofa,
you can snap some photos and share it on hometalk, too…

…and then you can be sure to tell me so’s I can go over and love it.
I would love to get to see YOUR style too, you know.

Happy Tuesday,

  1. How cute is that? What a great clipboard! My kitchen is by no means small but I actually have very little wall space and really no upper cabinets (going for that vintage look). So, oddly, storage can sometimes be an issue even for me!

    Hi Jami,
I love these spice jars and how you hung them on the wall!! And your “NY” letters look great!!
Hope you have a fantastic week.

Hi. I just wanted to say how much I like your lovely blog and let you know that unfortunately I can’t see any pictures-only the words. Don’t know if it’s just my computer (although I don’t have that problem with any other blogs)or if perhaps someone else is experiencing difficulty. I am so not tech savvy. Thought you would want to know. It’s just not the same without your sweet pictures-sigh.

  4. Diana says:

Having the same problem as Gina but can see it on the email version. Thanks for sharing I’m always looking for ideas on storing/hiding things.

  5. Organization, my nemesis! Awesome collection of doable things to help organize! Your blog is very nice!

Well done Jamie. I absolutely love this post. I live in the smallest space imaginable. And have decided to take it one step further. I can’t wait to use your ideas in my tiny space. You can view my progress on Facebook. Just search for The-bald chef
