Happy Tuesday.

{Thank you} for taking the time to leave me a comment this week! I replied you in my posts, but didn’t realize I needed to install a plug-in on the new blog for you to be notified. : (

(I thought it was an automatic thing with WordPress!)

Now that I have the plug-in installed, you should get a notification when I reply, but I just wanted you to know that I appreciate you and you can go see my reply in the meantime!

I also want to let you know about a Thanksgiving Traditions party that I was invited to host along with seven other lovely bloggers…

…and it starts tomorrow!

Tomorrow, Heather at Setting for Four will be sharing her Thanksgiving tablescape, tradition and recipe.
You’ll be able to link up any Thanksgiving project, tradition or recipe, too.

So, if you have anything to share (new or old), be sure to visit Heather tomorrow and link up!
Stop in for some Thanksgiving inspiration, too.

I think I’m most looking forward to reading everyone’s traditions.
They are so important, especially if you have little ones, and I’m always looking for ideas!
Someday, they’ll grow up and appreciate them.

Do you love traditions?

I’ll be hopping on over tomorrow! I love the holidays and could always use some creative new ideas!

I have not done this but saw it somewhere and wanted to share….A sweet mom thought of this..They put a white table cloth down at Holidays..and each year family signed the table cloth, she then embroidered their comments…this was used each year…and went on to show as when family married…and then the hand of their baby ….I think this is a wonderful idea…and wish I could say who the lady and family is…but I only remember the idea…I can still think of some of what they wrote…like a uncle who was a joker, someone writing their recipe ….the cloth was really big…

gladly you can post this idea…and hope some day we find out who thought of it to start

    Hi there Jami!

This sounds like so much fun, and I will make sure to head on over tomorrow! I love Thanksgiving, and it is always prepares my heart for celebrating Christmas. :)

How are you doing and how was your summer? I hope it was a good one! I kind of fell off the planet for a couple of months, it was just too crazy around here to get much blogging in this summer! I will make sure to visit more often, I always love coming by and seeing what you are up to! :)

I hope you are having a great week!

  4. SueAnn says:

My grown granddaughters appreciate traditions too!! The have already have their requests in. Ha

  5. I love your new look! You will love wordpress, but it will take a little time to get used to. I just installed the reply option in Disqus DUH! It makes things so much easier. Seriously, about 3 months ago, after using wordpress for 2 1/2 years , I realized you could do your posts full screen…DUH again. So it is still a learning experience for me years later, but the plugin options are endless. Love the link party, I am going to be checking it out since I have NO traditions to speak of, maybe I can find one that fits. Muah!

thank you for taking a minute to write...
