{air your laundry friday} textile party

Happy Thursday!
I love this party and last week was no exception.
I have a bunch of features for you tonight
so I’m just going to hop right to it.
Thank you so much for dropping off your laundry when you have it,
or for just stopping by to gather inspiration.
I am smitten with Allison’s (The Golden Sycamore) Embellished Burlap Pillow Tutorial.
Mary at At Home on the Bay blew me away with her DIY version of
Anthropologie’s $598 Log Cabin Pendant.
Isn’t it awesome?
She PAINTED on that plaid, loves.
Michele at Hello Lovely, Inc. shared her living room of Belgian linen progress.
Oh. my. beautiful.
Look at all that creamy lovely linen….and sunlight!
I am so grateful for A Life with Repurpose’s Pretty Floorcloth Tutorial.
It is so detailed.
I can never find a rug I like and considered making a floorcloth
for the kitchen and living room.
I did not know you need a base coat of gesso & a top coat of polyacrylic,
so I am so happy she linked up this tutorial.
This Closet Makeover from Miranda at Pressing On
is technically a painting project but it happens to be
a place where we keep our laundry!
Makes me smile.
It’s like the feeling you get when you open up a dresser drawer
that has been painted or papered.
We really should give our closets a little more love.
Loving Rita Joy’s (Harbour Breeze) Happy Sign.

Kathy at Creative Home Expressions did the sweetest makeover on a vintage suitcase
by decoupaging a darling vintage paper doll fabric over it.
Did you ever play with paper dolls? I loved them!
It’s now used to hold her daughter’s dolls & clothes.
So sweet!

Grab a feature button in my sidebar if you’d like.

Two simple party rules:
1. This is a textile {fabric} project party only.
2. Please take a minute and link back to the party in your post.

Have a happy Friday.
I’ll see you in the morning with kitchen progress.

  1. Thanks for hosting!

  2. Thank you for featuring my closet Jami! I was hoping that you could see past the painting part to the valuable and fun space to hold my linens. I so rarely get a chance to enter your parties since I’m sewing challenged, but I still pop in to your party each week because there’s so much wonderful inspiration linked up.

  3. Thank you for hosting…

  4. Thanks for featuring my suitcase makeover, Jami!
