{air your laundry friday} TEXTILE link party

Happy Thursday!
To my lovely friends in Australia and other cooler parts of the world:
I am so jealous that you are probably wearing wool sweaters and warm socks right now.
This July heat wave is a bit {intense}.

Next project:
DIY Central Air
using 3 kids, a bucket of ice, and a fan
(and a hot glue gun in some capacity for good DIY measure).
I can probably get by with two kids.
I’m thrifty, after all.
Now that I’ve established the fact that I do not do 100 degrees of heat for more than two days,
I hope the rest of you had a very happy 4th!!!

Let’s get on with this week’s awesome features…

Loved Jaime’s Ruffle Trimmed Bedskirt.
Her sewing tutorials are always top-notch.
Sweet and simple.

Jamie at Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom
Sweet and happy.
Jamie at The Creative Imperative
whipped up some cute and easy Bathroom Towel Hooks for Kids.
Her hooks are adorable, too!
And you know what I just realized after typing that?
They We all have the same name.

Unplanned and completely impartial {promise!}, but a bit cool.

..not like “OH-EM-GEE!!! We have the same name!!!!” valley girl cool,
but rather “What a coincidence.” cool.

Have a happy weekend.

Thank you so much for dropping off your pretty laundry!

Just one rule…
Please link up fabric/textile projects or inspiration only.
I love your furniture and recipes,
but this is a textile party, lovelies.

freckled laundry

  1. Thanks as always Jami for featuring my projects. And I did pick up on the Jaime-Jamie-Jami trend right away, guess us gals with that name were just meant to be sewers! That truly is one great coincidence. And I will be joining you with the DIY AC using 3 kids, this weather really makes you want to live further north.

  2. Thank you so much for featuring my Camera case! Maybe next week you can feature the “Heathers”… ;)

  3. Yep, I’ve had thick socks on and a thick jumper too today :) The mornings are worst… but now in the afternoon I’m feeling a bit warmer. It’s beautiful weather outside. Thank you for hosting each week :)
    Greetings from Australia♥ ~Pernilla
