{air your laundry friday} textile party

I just got lost on a long and winding Google trail
searching for the perfect concrete overlay for the ceramic tile
{that I loathe} in my kitchen.
Fortunately, a trail of your pretty laundry
led me back to my blog for air your laundry friday!
Thank you so much for sharing your textile projects when you have them.
Here are a handful of features from last week…

Leslie at The American Sewing Guild shared her Doodle Duvet Cover Tutorial

for this awesome Pinterest inspired idea.
You can doodle on the duvet ‘page’ with fabric markers!
Oh, what I would have given to have this as a child or teen.
So cool.
Last week, I mentioned that you can now
link up homemade laundry detergents, linen sprays, etc.
{anything that’s homemade and keeps laundry smelling and looking pretty}
and J at The Loud Silence linked up her Homemade Detergent Recipe.
I fell in love with these Little Fabric Collages
made by the talented and creative Tania at Little Vintage Cottage.
So sweet.
I remember how excited I was when I sewed my very first pillow cover.
Allison at Allison’s Everyday Journey just sewed her first one
and I think it turned out great!
Cheryl at The Beachcomber, wrapped handmade soaps in vintage laundry.
Aren’t they darling?
I love the folds in the laundry at the top.
I would love to set a pretty little basketful of wrapped soaps
by my front door for friends & family to take on the way out.
Right now, I have a glass canister filled with dried lavender buds
{Now that I think about it, I don’t think I’ve ever showed you!},
and my company gets to scoop some into a little drawstring cotton bag
to take with them when they leave.
Just as a little “thank you” for thinking of the Clune family.
I’m not talking about the regular visitors, like my sis…or the Mr. Furleys of the bunch.
Although they could certainly could grab a scoop every time, if they wanted to.
I hope you have a lovely weekend!
My heart has so much to write tonight but I’ll save it for another post.
This party is all about you!
Thanks for linking or looking around.
