repurposed hoop art and pink striped monogram

Thank you so much for your sweet notes on my baby girl’s ballet post.
Thankfully, I still have full range of motion in my fingertips so that I can write this one.
One word:
{Okay. Technically, it isn’t a word but you get the point.}
The husband and I are committed to fitness this year.
He’s a great workout buddy…with CPR certification, just in case!
(I thought he might get a chance to try it on a real person after my first dose of plyometrics.) I’d much rather talk about pretty, fru fru stuff though

so here’s a little something that I made for Edyn’s bedroom wall,
repurposing a few of my favorite baby outfits.
(I shared the ballerina tutu hair bow holder HERE.)

It’s no secret around here that I fancy embroidery hoop art at the moment.
Are you down with the hoop?!

I also painted a striped chipboard monogram using white and shimmery pink paint.

I’m sharing the easy tutorial and more photos over here tonight…

Don’t forget to drop your laundry off here tomorrow night!

That is absolutely adorable (as usual)! Thanks for the wonderful inspiration and the link to the party!

  3. What a great way to save and preserve old baby clothes in a beautiful way. Love the pink striped letter too! What’s not to love about glittery pink!

Jamie your little girls bedroom wall is divine.

  6. Love the tutu. I’ve started doing P90X in 2008. We received P90X2 for Christmas. I love it!!!! Different than P90X but I really like it – I think he got better advisement and input for 2. Anyway, good luck with fitness in 2012!

  7. chris says:

LOVE your hoops. Good luck with the workouts!

Yet again, a super cute, original idea that I love. Good luck with the P90X, I have tried it and man is it tough! People who make it through have amazing results.

  10. Jenni says:

Jami, this is such a cute idea to “frame” your daughter’s special baby outfits with the embroidery hoops! How lovely! And the striped monogram is precious! :) Your photos are always so beautiful!

I hope you have a good weekend!
