In my last post, I mentioned that I painted and slipcovered the French Country chair
that I picked up a while ago at an estate sale for around $30.00.
Well, here she is all romantic and pretty...
(Oh, she's definitely a girl.)
The chair originally looked like this...
(A perfectly fine chair with beautiful fabric that didn't work with what I have goin' on over here.)
I had also purchased some vintage lavender linens from Miss Mustard Seed's
booth at Wild Rose & Co.
Oh, how I love these linens and I'm always searching for more of them.
There was a set of four napkins and one huge, square towel or centerpiece linen.
I used the larger square piece to slipcover the top of the down-filled cushion.
The rest of the chair was slipcovered and ruffled with Rachel Ashwell's Dream White Linen,
purchased from one of my favorite fabric shops.
I painted the chair with Annie Sloan's new, Pure White Chalk Paint
and hit it with two coats of clear wax.
(I'll share more about Pure White, French Linen, and Coco this weekend.)
And, here's one more shot just because I'm in. love. with. this. chair.
and because it took and entire Sunday to make the slipcover!
Before I go, I wanted to let you know that my friends,
have each recently written some posts about taking great photos.
(Donna is actually doing an entire series this month called, 31 Days from Blog to Biz)
Well, guru Marian shared the Flora Bella Photoshop actions that she uses
to make her great photos awesome.
I've been hemming and hawing over purchasing the Luxe set for months
and after reading Marian's post today, I finally made the investment.
And. Oh. my. heavens.
BEFORE actions...
AFTER the Cashmere action was applied (and adjusted)...
Pretty sweet, huh?
This post is long enough so I'll share more about actions next week
after I've had a little more time to play and get privy.
Thanks for reading.

OH MY GOSH! I love it! What style and vision you have! Who wouldn't want to sit on that chair and sink into that beautiful fabric. I too am going to purchase those actions after reading Marian's post. Seems like cheating a little, but hey, I am no photographer and could use all the help I can get. I can not believe what a fast sewer you are, and the quality and attention to detail and unbelievable. Great job Jami!
