Bei Fiori & Giveaway

Hi, sweets.
Hope you had a lovely weekend.
I spent mine painting my hutch a pale aqua
but I’m having some color commitment issues
and I’m now painting it {safely} white.
I will share it with you soon.
I decided against the metallic finish and will share why in that post.Update:
Here’s what it looked like with pale aqua…
It’s a gorgeous color…just not right for this piece.
(Ben Moore’s 1479 Alaskan Huskey).

The bead board back with be covered with white fabric
and the doors will be mirrored (thus I didn’t paint them).
I’m happy to announce
the newest shop in the Vintage Market.
Marilyn is the owner and designer behind this pretty shop.
Here is a bit about her…
I am a wife to a wonderful husband, mother of two grown children. Our daughter is married and we have a wonderful son-in-law.
Our son is living out on his own.
I work for the Long Beach Unified School District.
I have always loved crafting and find satisfaction
in creating and seeing the final results.
I started my Etsy shop with encouragement
from my family and friends.
- Marilyn
She sells several vintage style creations at beiFIORI.
Vintage style trim lined, burlap gift bags…
They’d make the cutest party favor bags.
An adorable canvas tote, *embellished a little*…
…and a lovely Parisian-inspired Osnaburg Pillow.
That bow adds just the right touch.

Marilyn was sweet enough
to send me a couple of her wares to review,
so I happily placed her little shop
in the Vintage Market this month.
 Thank you, Marilyn!
If you’ve been reading this blog for a little while,
you know that cotton jersey is one of my {favorite} textiles.
Denim is too.
And ruffles; who doesn’t love ruffles?
This denim colored, cotton jersey scarf, with ruffles is perfect.
She also sent along this pretty lil’ bicycle tote
complete with ruffles and a removable flower embellishment.
It just puts me in mood for Spring, I tell ya.
(especially considering my son has another snow day today.)
And, as much as I adore it,
I’m giving it away to one of you
because I love ya.
To enter,
just leave a comment
on this post with your favorite thing
in Marilyn’s Bei Fiori Etsy shop.
I’ll choose the winner on Friday, March 11.
Thanks for reading.
Happy Monday!

  7. You and I have similar taste! Our front parlour has a Secretary-like armoire sort of creature, nearly 8 feet high, with the exact same arch at its top. No backing for that portion, but lowerd own is a little ledge with cubbies, a secret compartment, and room to rest a keyboard and other equipment. It’s a lovely goldenrod color, distressed by time, circumstance, but lovable!

Please enter us in that giveaway. Personally, we actually like the bicycle tote! It could end up being our group’s run around town tote for all things ephemeral. ;)
    Thanks for the chance!
