{Air Your Laundry Friday} TEXTILE Party #16

Hi, sweets.

Thank you so much for
linking up or looking around last week.

It was another lovely party.

I added a few more projects to the ol’ “dream” pile.

Here are my freckled favorites for the week…

I am in {love} with this bag
made by Sharon at Glazed from the Heart.
She simply used a Walmart bag,
added some ruffles and a new strap,
and made me drool.
Two embroidered pillows caught my eye last week…
made this lil’ French beauty.
And, Judy at DIY by Design
made this cutie.
I don’t have the attention span for embroidery
so I appreciate this talent when I see it.
is always whipping up the prettiest
things with textiles.
I absolutely adore these.
I especially love the printed burlap that she uses.
created simple and pretty artwork
with a frame and slice of fabric.
This is a tried & true way to create something lovely.
We all have a fabric that we bought just because we loved the pattern
but had no idea what we’d use it for.
Now we know.
I just bought a couple of yards of Rachel Ashwell’s
Gray Stripe Belgian Linen.
I will be framing some.
And, what kind of New Yorker
would I be if I didn’t love this bear
Go Yankees.
Isn’t is the cutest thing you ever did see?

I can’t wait to see what you have this week!

1. Pleeeeeeease link up TEXTILE projects and inspiration only.
(As long at is uses a textile in some way, it’s linkable.)

Definition of textile [tex·tile]

1: cloth; especially a woven or knit cloth
2: a fiber, filament, or yarn used in making cloth

2.     Please be courteous & add my button (in the sidebar) or text link to your post.
{thank you}

3. Please link to your actual post, not your blog in general.

4. Please be sweet and visit at least a couple other links.

5. I’d love it if you followed me too, but it’s optional.

Can’t wait to see what you link up this week!

Due to “scraper” websites that earn revenue by scraping feeds (like an automatic copy & paste) and stealing the creative content of others, I can no longer provide FULL blog posts via email subscriptions. I apologize that you now see a partial post and have to click over to my blog for the rest. I try to create lovely and original content so I appreciate your understanding. If you don’t, I am sorry to see you leave and thank you for being a part of my journey while you were subscribed. {Jami}

I love your special pics. One day I will have something to contribute to your textile party. I just love textiles, but I tend to buy them, not make them. I need to work on my talent in this area. I can’t wait to see what you do with your new fabric from Rachel Ashwell!

    Wow Jami,
These ladies are super talented!! I am loving that bag and the pillows!! I wish I could embroider like that!

  11. OOH! Thanks so much for the feature Jami. I’m usually a girl with a paintbrush, so to be featured with fabric is a good thing for me!

As a matter of fact, I just linked up a chair to your party that I am attempting to slipcover with a drop cloth. I saw two of those in your party. I am going to have to go check those out and hopefully learn a thing or two!

    Take care,

I am happy that you liked by pillow. It was fun to make. I always enjoy visiting and looking at all of the textile creations. I am in the middle of some things but have nothing complete to post this week. I have looked at some and plane to check out more of this weeks talent.

  15. Thank you so much for featuring me! I really appreciate it. If I ever make another bag like this one I will certainly let you know. Thanks again!

  16. I just found you….I’m not much of a crafter or sewer…but I LOVE seeing what all you ladies make. Everyone of you is so talented.
