White out (and whiped out)

Hello, sweetie pies.
I did not intend to disappear for the weekend
and I’ve missed you so,
but it seems that Jack Frost
has been a tad unkind.
Along with all of this beautiful snow,
stomach bugs & the like have followed.

[cue violin music]

This is only the twins’ 2nd winter
and I’m beginning to notice a pattern…

7-year-old brings funk home from school.
Twin A gets funk.
Twin A & 7-year-old feel better.
Twin B gets funk.
Twin B feels better.
Mama gets funk.
And this year…
Mama feels better and paints
everything in sight white.

That’s what I did today.

I’ve declared this week a white out.
My neighbors surely think I’m nuts now
after watching me mad dash out the front door
in between the very light snow flurries
with a can of white spray primer,
to quickly spray my furniture,
and bring it inside to dry.
(Hey. The snow wasn’t sticking to the ground
so I consider that paintin’ weather.
And, even though it was all of 30 degrees today,
the primer seems to have adhered just fine.)
Throughout the week,
I’ll be sharing a newly whitened
desk, chair, bench, and doll cradle.
And, if I find the time…
some white angel wings & linen hearts.
Maybe some lavender books.
TODAY is the last day to enter my giveway!
Thank you so much for all of your
entries & sweet comments so far.
I honestly can’t believe it!
Speaking of comments,
I have some catching up to do on those (& general email) too.
