New weekly link party

Okay, darlings.
After some careful thought
and appreciated feedback from you,
I finally decided on
a name and a niche
for my new weekly link party…
{metaphorically speaking, of course}

What do you think?
I wanted a party that reflected
the {undertones?} of my blog.
white and gray.

[I did but] I didn’t want to do a vintage party
because the sweet Debra at Common Ground
already hosts one (and it’s one of my favorites).
Then, I thought about a white party
brightens my blog hoppin’ every week
with her White Wednesday party.
If you love white, pencil this in on Wednesdays.

 That pretty much left me
with a handmade, textile party
(but not just any handmade, textile party).
A vintage chic, handmade, textile party, of course.

                      Definition of textile [tex·tile]

1: cloth; especially a woven or knit cloth
2: a fiber, filament, or yarn used in making cloth
if you’ve created, purchased, or been inspired by anything
vintage-esque using textiles,
you are cordially invited
to my party on Fridays at 12:01 a.m. EST.

I’d love for you to come and can’t wait
to be inspired by all of you.
I’d virtually {hug} you to pieces if you grabbed
my blue jean button, too.
I hope to see you Friday.

    Hi Jamie
I am so…gonna be there…right after the Open House in a few weeks
In the meantime…I can’t wait to see all of the wonderful things that will be going on here!
Have a great week and by the way…How is the Chicken nugget?

  3. Amanda Kuzak says:

Great idea! I wish I created more with textiles so I could join in, my creations are usually of flour and butter.

  4. Great idea for a party, Jami! And the way I figure it, the more the merrier. People can link up to several parties and find more inspiration. Now, I’m not much of a fiber or textile person, but I’ll try to join in when I can. In the meantime. I’d love for you to link in with me when YOU can!!

Hi:) I just found your AMAZING blog when I googled ‘zinc faux paint’! I want to paint the outside of our 90 yr old clawfoot bath in a ‘zinc’ finish, and I came across your beautiful ‘zinc’ dresser. I am your newest follower and am so looking forward to reading all of your previous posts. Wishing you a wonderful week ~ Tina
