Cookie Monster Favors and Top 10

Happy Tuesday, my sweet friends!
If you haven’t already entered, today is the last day
to throw your name in the hat for a chance to win
a beautiful, custom, handmade necklace of your choice from
{Starfish} Custom Handmade Jewelry.

Two winners announced tomorrow!

On a separate note,
things have been hoppin’ around here

in preparation for Saturday’s birthday shin dig.
The creativity gene runs in my family
and I’m so blessed that my cousin, Billi
from BillionsByBilli
creates custom clay and fondant figures and such
for keychains, favors, cakes, etc.

Here is a sneak peek at the favors for
my twins’ Cookie Monster themed party…

How cute is he?

Although I think he’s perfect as is,
Billi is her own worst critic,
and will be adding black to the inside of his mouth
and more texture to the fur.

She is also adding a small loop…hook…thingy

to the back so that I can string them
on hemp rope for necklace favors.
So cool.
Although Billi doesn’t yet have a blog
(even though you should),
she can do custom figures
for your party, too!
Her talented bad self can make
just about anything.
if you need custom figures,

Speaking of Cookie Monster,
my terrycloth invitation

was voted into The DIY Club’s
Top 10 for the October contest!

DIY Club

Do you know how easy it is to enter
the contest every month?
All I did was use 99 cent DecoArt paint for the black pupils on his eyes,
and I was able to link up.
Not only that,
but it was chosen for the Top 10
for a shot at winning a $500 prize package.
It’s that easy.
if you use any product from any of the Club’s sponsors
on your project, link it up to the November contest.
I’m only telling you this because I want you to win.

My French Gray chair
(a bit higher on the difficulty scale)
also made the Top 10.

Thank you, DIY Club gals!

This month,
the Judges decide the winner
but all ten projects are amazing
and they want to know who you’d pick.

Head on over,
and leave a comment with your favorite!
I can’t decide on a cake, cupcakes, or a cookie cake
for the party.
(I’m doing two small marshmallow fondant cakes for each baby.)
What is your sweet tooth sayin’?

  2. I reckon one of these days you’ll have ALL the top ten positions in the DIY club!! Haha. That’d be hilarious. And the winner is….oh, what a surprise, it’s Jami!! You’re just too good!

I reckon cupcakes would be good because there’d be less slicing time onthe day. I hate the slicing bit of the cake. I’m always a bit stressed by that point and slice it wonkily!!
